E.T. Outside the World (Also known as E.T.: An Outside Being) is an American science fiction movie produced by Spielberg in 1982, written by Melissa Mathison and starring Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, Peter Coyote, and Pat Welsh. The movie tells the story of Elliott, a lonely boy who befriends an extraterrestrial he calls E.T. and the efforts of Elliott and his siblings to return E.T. to his home world.
