نازنین

Nazanin is a 1970 Iranian drama film directed by Akbar Qawasim Kiani, based on a real incident. The film tells the story of Nayyereh, a young orphan girl who is taken under the care of her elderly aunt Effat after the death of her parents. Effat, who runs a small guesthouse, notices Neyyereh's increasingly obvious pregnancy and eventually discovers that her niece is expecting a child by Morteza, a draft dodger from the provinces lacking responsible behavior and plans. As Nayyereh's pregnancy progresses, Morteza is forced to make increasingly difficult choices, culminating in a life-altering decision that will change the lives of Neyyereh and Effat forever.
