The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is the epic conclusion to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, in which the forces of good and evil clash in a final battle for Middle-earth. The film follows Frodo Baggins, a hobbit burdened with the task of destroying the One Ring, as he journeys to Mount Doom in the land of Mordor to cast it into the fires and destroy it forever.
