The House That Ananda Built

This documentary film offers an intimate look into the lives of an Oriya family from the village of Nadpur in Mayurbhanj, India. We follow Ananda, a successful businessman from Nagpur, and his family over several decades, from India's pre-independence era up until 20 years after. The film explores Ananda's beliefs, his work, his family dynamics, and the changes that occur over time. It earned a nomination for Best Documentary Short at the Academy Awards.
