This trashy Thai horror flick follows a group of friends who unleash a vengeful spirit known as Nang Plai when they disregard ancestral warnings against cutting down a sacred tree in an old graveyard. The group soon finds themselves haunted by the ghostly woman, who uses her long, limbless body to creep through doorways and wreak bloody havoc. While the acting and plot are forgettable, the film's scares are surprisingly effective due to its gripping atmosphere and well-executed jump scares. "Ithirikhti Namman Phralai" is ultimately a formulaic Thai horror film that will likely only appeal to fans of the genre.
