Queen of the South Sea Spell is a classic Indonesian horror film from 1982. The film tells the story of Lestari (Suzanna), a black magician who is banished into the woods after a competition with her rival Anggoro (Johny Indo). After her brother's death, Lestari becomes suicidal until she meets Ki Jagasatru (Clift Sangra), a man from the South Seas who offers her a recipe for revenge. Extremely well made for its era, Queen of the South Sea Spell is worth seeking out for fans of classic horror films and Indonesian cinema.
