बिराज बहू

Biraj Bahu is an Indian feature film made in 1955. Meanwhile, Nilambhar, having gone to Bombay, gets a job. He and Biraj start leading a happier life, and eventually reunite with the other family members. The movie revolves around the cultural and social ethos of an Indian joint family. Deodhar will stop at nothing to get Biraj, and Nilambhar is forced to fight for his wife's honor. There is also a subplot involving Punnu dating her widowed music teacher, and facing the wrath of the social norms.
