Beshte Madyr is a 1985 Egyptian drama film directed by Omar Abdel Aziz. The film follows the story of a government official who is forced to confront the corruption that has become endemic in his country. The film was a critical and commercial success, and won several awards, including the Golden Prize at the 10th Cairo International Film Festival. It is considered to be one of the greatest Egyptian films of all time.
