Eccezzziunale... veramente

An Italian comedy movie directed by Carlo Vanzina in 1985. It tells the story of Guido and Stelio, two friends who are very different in lifestyle, who becomes passionate about the same woman, Silvia, who seem willing to do anything to conquer her and to dump their fiancées. The film was followed by three sequels called Eccezzziunale verament 2 - Patria mia ("My Homeland") also directed by Carlo Vanzina (1996), Eccezzziunale verament 3 - Il jolly ("The Joker") directed by Enrico Vanzina (2018) and Eccezzziunale veramente - Capitolo secondo... me ("Chapter Two... Me") directed by Carlo Vanzina (1988). It was a box office hit, with over 800,000 admissions, and became iconic for its catchphrase "Do you want to do a bet?", which, playful and ironic, has remained etched in the collective imagination.
