El Bola

El Bola (English: The Ball) is a 2000 Spanish drama film written and directed by Álex de la Iglesia. The film tells the story of Pablo, a young boy who is tormented by his classmates and finds solace in marijuana and running. The film stars Juan José Ballesta, Enrique Villalonga, and Raquel Rodrigo. El Bola was a critical and commercial success, winning several awards, including the Goya Award for Best Film. It is considered one of the best Spanish films of the 2000s.
