Inner and Outer Space

<p>Inner and Outer Space is a 1966 science fiction adventure film about a NASA mission that travels to Mars and encounters the remnants of an ancient Martian civilization. The film stars Philip Carey and Marianna Hill.<br> <br> Under the direction of Cyrus Dubin, the graphic and special effects were handled by Project Unlimited/Howard Anderson Company, Miracle Movies, and The Associates and Aldrich Studio. Animation and stop motion techniques were utilized to bring some of the creatures and vehicles to life, including an alligator attacked by a flying bat, and a violent bird-of-prey caught in the lights of a spaceship.<br> <br> Though not filmed in color, Inner and Outer Space may still appeal to modern science fiction fans with its dated charm and campy aesthetic.<br> <br> Despite receiving generally negative reviews from critics, Inner and Outer Space was a box office success, grossing over $3 million against its $750,000 budget.<br> <br> Inner and Outer Space has been released on DVD by BCI Eclipse Company, as part of a double feature with Tunia Khalis.<br> <br> Despite its mixed critical reception, Inner and Outer Space remains a popular film among fans of classic science fiction.
