Jaltey Suraj Ke Nichey

Surrounded by profound poverty and oppression living on the outskirts of Dhaka landless villagers are forced to live perpetually in debt to moneylenders. An opportunity arises for them to buy back their mortgaged land when the owner discovers oil on his property. Facing resistance from moneylenders who will stop at nothing to keep them in bondage, the villagers band together in unity and resolve despite the looming threat of violence.
