Los pequeños privilegios

Small Privileges is a Mexican film directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella. The film follows the story of Vero and José, a young couple from Mexico City's upper-class society, as they prepare for the birth of their first child. At the same time, their live-in maid, Adela, a native of southern Mexico, becomes pregnant with her rural boyfriend's child. Through powerful storytelling, the movie encapsulates contrasting worlds, exploring gender disparity, class divisions in Mexican society, and the vast chasm that exists between two worlds.
