Moleque Tião

Moleque Tião (Little Brother Tião) is a 1943 Brazilian drama film directed by Jácomo Gentil, based on the novel of the same name by José Lins do Rego. The film tells the story of Tião, a poor boy who lives in a Northeastern Brazilian village and dreams of moving to the city. Along the way, he experiences poverty, discrimination, and abuse, but he never gives up on his dreams.
