Nada dan Dakwah

Nada and Dawah, tells of a village named Pandanwangi where people got upset when they heard the news that their land would be acquired by a large, evil conglomerate. This conflict escalated to the point of blows. The villagers took this situation to be more of a morality matter than a mere matter of land ownership. The head of the village?s Islamic boarding school, H. Murad, who was assisted by H. Rhoma, tried to influence the villagers to refuse to sell their land. Eventually, it was the charismatic Islamic leader, KH Zainuddin MZ, who succeeded in holding mediation and he even influenced the conglomerate owner, Bustomi, to rethink his plans. It reveals the social issues caused by the rapid development that took place at the time.
