Operation Galeana traces the roots of the tragic events of October 2nd, 1968, which left 300 people dead and 283 wounded in a pitched battle between students and the Mexican Army, Police, and Government paramilitaries.Combining news footage, epic reconstructions and dramatizations, the film uncovers the political masterminds, the behind-the-scenes strategies and the specific orders given by President Gustavo Díaz Ordaz that very day.
